FAQs

What is Give Hope Relief donation policy?

We understand the importance of donations made through fundraising and must be responsible, accountable and fully transparent. Thus, Give Hope Relief is committed to an ethical donation policy and ensures that the majority of your donations are used for direct aid.

Through Sadaqah and Zakat, we try to help in the most effective way. However, all our projects come with unavoidable administrative costs. This includes activities such as fundraising, administration and support to complete our campaigns and projects.

How is Sadaqah delivered?

Give Hope Relief intends to use 5% of your Sadaqah donation to cover administrative costs. In other words, for every £1 you donate, we plan to spend up to 5p on administration. By supporting Give Hope Relief through our ethical approach, you will inevitably facilitate our efforts to implement, deliver and deliver campaigns that benefit those most in need.

This allows us to use your donations more effectively to change the lives of communities, families and individuals around the world.

How is Zakat delivered?

Give Hope Relief does not charge administrative fees for donations made for the purpose of Zakat. This ensures that 100% of your Zakat goes to education, health, shelter, food, security or nutrition.

How do we manage our delivery costs?

Give Hope Relief constantly strives to reduce the delivery costs of its projects. To achieve this, we are actively developing new sources of income, including:
- We encourage direct donations to our administrative fund.
- UK Government gift aid tax refund.

Gift Aid allows eligible taxpayers to increase the value of their gift by 25% and Give Hope Relief allocates this extra money to our trust fund.

What happens to excess funds?

When the project is finished, all remaining or future funds are allocated to a similar project or to the general fund of the country.

What happens if the project cannot be completed?

If the project cannot be completed, all remaining or future funds will be allocated to a similar project or to the general fund of the state.

How do you measure the impact of your donations?

We create a project deliverable to meet the expectations of the SPHERE standards. Water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) promotion, food security and nutrition, shelter and settlement and health. We measure impacts based on effective human resources and respond comprehensively to needs. We seek to identify immediate needs and prioritize actions to address them.
